The firm

Deliberately small. Seriously equipped.

NewCo is a systems and AI operations firm led by two practitioners — one who builds the machine, one who makes sure it grows the business and the people in it. A principal on every engagement. No junior bench, no hand-offs, no theater. And no org chart to climb before you reach the person doing the work.

§ 01

The principals

Two worlds, one firm
[ P1 ]SYSTEMS & AI OPERATIONS

Steven Bell

The machine side

Steven's career started where failure is measured by the minute: Nissan's global supply chain, leading supply chain management systems programs — configuration management, process control, the software that coordinates plants, suppliers, and parts data. In that world a stopped line costs thousands of dollars a minute, so systems are documented, monitored, and built to fail loudly.

Then he took that discipline to Main Street as CTO inside a growing independent brokerage — rebuilding lead flow, follow-up, and back-office process until the book of business doubled on the same headcount. Not a hero quarter. A rebuilt machine.

[ P2 ]GROWTH & CLIENT STRATEGY

Ruthie Ingram

The growth side

Ruthie has spent a decade turning complex ideas into outcomes — account strategy, product delivery, and customer success from early-stage startups to enterprise. As VP of Client Strategy at Qubika, she oversaw delivery strategy for accounts like ExxonMobil and Coca-Cola: product advisory, stakeholder alignment, technical scoping, and GenAI adoption across global teams.

Through her boutique practice, The Marlowe Group, she's guided growth for health tech, SaaS, and engineering organizations — always with the same throughline: help thoughtful leaders align around what matters, then execute with clarity.

  • GenAI adoption across global teams
  • Founder, The Marlowe Group — growth for mission-driven orgs
The best teams aren't built from people trying to be everything. They're built from complementary strengths: one of us thinks in vision, growth, and long-term direction; one of us operationalizes it beautifully. That's not our org chart — it's our whole theory of the firm. — Why there are two of us, and no hierarchy
§ 02

What we believe

Fixed principles

Automation should make work more human, not less. Ruthie carries this from years of putting AI into healthcare workflows, where behind every metric is someone's mother, father, or friend: the point of technology is to remove friction and create more capacity for empathy, follow-through, and real connection. That belief runs through everything we install — the operator answers in minutes so your people can have the conversations that matter.

And machines should carry what machines are good at. Steven carries this from the production line: if it lives in someone's head, it's already breaking. Structure beats memory, documentation beats heroics, and a system that fails loudly beats one that fails politely.

Between those two beliefs is the whole firm: enterprise-grade discipline, human-first purpose, pointed at businesses that usually get offered neither.

§ 03

How we work

Texture

We build with what you own, document like it matters, and stay accountable to the number.

Biased toward your existing stack. The best system is usually the software you're already paying for, configured like someone's job depended on it. We buy new tools reluctantly and cancel unused ones enthusiastically.

Present without being loud. Weekly demos during builds. Five-line monthly updates on retainers. Numbers you can check yourself on the Command Deck. Trust built on cadence, not charisma.

And personally invested — because we've been the person answering leads at 11pm. The whole firm exists so fewer owners live like that. When a client tells us they took a real weekend, that goes in the win column next to the revenue.

The next step is a conversation, not a contract.
